How wonderful it would be if we could commence this new year 2016 with a bang!  I’m sure between renewed bucket lists, vision boards, life books, etc… We have our future completely planned out.  However, in the midst of all that we seemed to fall short of tuning up the engine that will help us get to where we want to go.  Our body is an engine in desperate need of a tune up.  I want to show you how to revitalize and nourish your body giving it that extra boost that it needs to help you get through the days, weeks, and months ahead.   I’m sure many of us have already started new healthy diets, fasting methods, goals, and lifestyle changes for this 2016.  I just want to add something natural and simple to your new healthy regime to help nourish and rejuvenate your body.
If you are looking for a nice way to ease your mind, body, and soul.  Try implementing a tea bath or herbal bath ones or twice a week.  You can use different blends to accommodate the need or nourishment your body is seeking that particular day.  If you are looking to detox you can concoct a loose leaf blend of green tea and add it to your bath.  If you want to add an extra jenesequa you can add Epson salt and baking soda for extra fizz.  This is a great way to balance your PH, detox, and revitalize your body.  If you are looking for something to relieve skin irritations, soften your skin, and help you sleep peacefully through the night then chamomile is the herb of choice.  To complement the mood you can add a scented candle and a great read.  Aromatherapy is great for relaxation.   Choose you favorite blend and follow the steps below for the herbal bath of your choice:
  1. Pour the water over 4 or 5 tea teabags (or 4 to 5 heaping teaspoons of loose-leaf tea).
  2. Steep and cool the tea for at least 15 minutes, and then remove the teabags or strain the tisane (if you’ve used loose-leaf ).
  3. Pour the tea into your drawn bath, swirling it to ensure it’s evenly blended.
You can add fresh organic blossoms such as Jasmine, roses, lavender for a natural fragrance to implement aromatherapy to you home spa session.  Try this simple steps and your bath session will never be the same again.  I personally believe that bathing is a very imitate cleansing ritual design not only cleanse the external part of the body but the mind as well.  Indulge and give your body a sweet treat today.
Sweet blessings to all of our readers…
